YS and BIG like too, wonderful photo, great perspective and colour use , lovely mood to it also , best wishes K@rin
And make that another Y* and like Steve, beautiful PP!
Hello Karin :-) Thanks for the YS and like :-) I struggled a bit with this one... it is an HDR but the colour version just looked weird.
Changing it to something like Sepia solved the problem..
Have a grand Easter..
Hello DoneyKebab :-) Hmmm. What a great idea. Shame all the Harry Potter films are done and dusted :-( This line does have the occasional Steam Engine running on it... Oh, to be at this spot when the next steam engine rolls by!
Thanks for the fine words and like :-)
Hello Sam :-) Thanks everso for the second YS in as many visits! Thanks too for the like...
Cheers all and a happy Easter..
Another beauty Steve
I'm lost for words!!! So many things I love about this one! It is definitely magical! Super mood, light and shadows, sparkling sun capture and of course the lines are superb! I just gotta keep it, it makes me happy!
Hiya Marion :-) Thanks everso for the YS and like :-) Chuffed you liked it!
Hiya GG! - I love it when there is an opportunity to break the rules :-) "Never take pictures into the sun" they say! "Cobblers!!" I reply!
Ok.. it takes a wee bit of fiddling to make it work and this one has ended up on the surreal side... But as the wonderfully named Doneykebab suggested, there is a hint of Harry Potter about this and I think he has a point. Well, I can't paint. Hopeless was the level skill I achieved on that endeavour :-( But photography? Well, I just love pushing the limits from time to time.
When my Pano Pals love the result, I could not be happier!
Thanks everso GG...
Greetings Dušan :-) Thank you for your visit and like :-)
very nice atmosphere!
'Lovely jubberly' Steve. Love your 'Olde Worlde' effects here. The bright highlight at the end of the tracks is an inspiration. Like of course.
Greetings François and Herb :-)
I almost binned this... It is an HDR shot but I reckon the software could not cope with the sun so low on the horizon because the colours were weird...
Take the colour out and the discord fell away..
Spotting the brightness at the converging tracks is well done, Herb.. At that point, there is another bridge that adds to the effect..
Thank you both, for the likes..
Wonderful photo Steve, love the sepia tones, you've done it again, YSL for this one as well, Cheers, LOZ
Hiya Loz - I have driven close by this scene countless times on my way in to work but I have no idea what made make a small diversion from my usual route that would see me pass over this railway bridge.
An earlybird has an advantage here... everything was so quiet and still. The sun was not too high above the horizon so I could attempt a shot like this.. The colour version just did not work but sepia? Well, I am chuffed it has found favour with you Loz :-) Thanks for the second YS...
Very interesting sepia! Well done!
Hello Alina :-) Thanks for the like and your visit - both are appreciated!
