How good it is to see this view, I know it so well, I lived at no 7 Ripon gardens ( the first pebbledashed house going up Ripon gdns on the left).from 1948 when i was 3 till 1967 when I got married. i know live Portugal, with my wife Lesley, in a beutiful villa complete with swimming pool etc. I still think of ripon gardens and miss its scruffy homeleness.
