Hello Lee Iljoo, many houses in Greece are plastered and painted white and blue, these colours are also in the flag of the country. You cannot walk in the street without sunglasses here.

In the nineteen-fifties this town of Pythagoreion got its name in honour of the mathematician Pythagoras who was born here, 2500 years ago. His statue (a bronze Pythagoras with a huge triangle) is on the small jetty in the port.
