Peter: you have a nice pictures all over the world, this one you named Malecon but really is the Avenida del Puerto, Malecon begin in the bay entrance and goes to the right (west) until the tunnel to Miramar (Almendarez river), the distance is about 6 km more or less. It is very famous place for everyone who live in Havana (habaneros).
