A cruciform, 12th century Church in the lovely village of Pakenham. The hexagonal tower was added in the 14th century...

Hi there François! Thanks for the like! Did you read what Marion had to say about this Church??

Cheers

Steve

Ha ha ha Marion... Blackadder had the perfect rejoinder for comments about size - "It does not matter how big it is - it's where you stick it"...

I would have to agree though... It would be a laugh to try and pack in the same number of bods into this wee Suffolk Church but I am not sure you would be able to close the doors.

So, did you watch it? Or did you shout "Vivre le Republic!"

Cheers

Steve

Steve, I looked this morning to your Royal weddings! Westminster Abbey is superb, and its choir is so nice!

I like traditions, and this is a so British one!

Hiya GG! Take one step less before you trip?? Oooh that paints a picture. I can see it now.. I wander into the Church to take some more photo's and there are a pair of legs waving about in the font.. "Ah" methinks "'tis GG"

If this warrants a YS from the one and only GG then how good is that? Thanks everso :-)

Cheers
