Unfortunately this poor bird didn't have a lot of success in this spot, the tide was coming in, and the water was getting further up his legs. Eventually he gave up and flew away. Best Wishes Peter

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the visit, I'm happy that you 'like' it. Of recent there seems to be quite a few herons collecting in the estuary. I guess sooner or later one will catch a fish close enough to get a photo, but not today!
