Sights and colours in Phetchaburi

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This was an early morning scene in friendly small town Phetchaburi. The monk had a short conversation with me, as I stood on the bridge and enjoyed the cooler air from the river.

My guest house room is right at bridge, cheap, friendly, but not recommended for people with high expectation. Recommended are however pecan tarts at the bakery near night market ($0.30 and delicious)

An interesting view and great shot!

There are maybe three or for buddhist monks also in Ljubljana but in a catholic country they rest by themselves somewhere out of town.

Best regards

We have plenty of monks in Toronto, mostly not visible like this, but with several Thai, Lao, Vietnamese and Indian temples, if I really try, I can find similar photo opportunity at home....
