Jim, looking at both pictures I prefer this one. It's composition suits the HDR better, the green in the foreground makes it more beautiful. Nevertheless in the other picture the sky had a more impressive colour but the composition was different.
Best wishes from Holland, Rein
I love this one Jim, it's simply beautiful. It's going in my favourites and I am really missing the sea. This will help me 'till I get to the coast! Best wishes, Rosa.
Very nice great photo.! LİKE 18
Hmm, hard choice dear Jim! Well, can I have this one with the amazing orange sky of the other one? I'm too deeply addicted to strong sky colours to let it go!
So my heart goes more to the previous one. But I have to admit that once enlarged, this one looks great, the houses are brighter and more sharply definited, and the nature is more beautiful with a shade of green.
I know, women are complicated!! ;))
Have a great weekend!
Hi.Jim fantastic good photo LIKE 35. Greetings from Holland John.
Hiya Jim - I reckon this one! The Photomatix photo has lost some of the definition in the shadier parts of the photo... and what are those whitish streaks?
I have been toying with the idea of upgrading CS4 to CS5 and if HDR processing is built in to CS5 then the argument to upgrade gathers a wee bit more steam.
As for B&W HDR, the results can be interesting...
I have looked at both photos Jim, and prefer this one. I love the wide open sky here, accentuated by the shapes of the clouds.
It's great to see you being so experimental, but for myself, I'll stay within the bounds of 'normality'. Norway is more than colourful enough without HDR ;-)
