It was certainly one of the wonderful moments for a landscape photographer, Tom. You know them well! Thanks very much. You are an encourager. Ciao,

Ian

Welcome to my gallery, AnaM. I am pleased that you appreciate the composition. The drama of light, rain and cloud seemed to demand a foreground that increased the threat of the storm. The cabbage tree certainly gave me the impression that it was being flailed by the storm.

Regards,

Ian

Thank you Berend. New Zealand is full of majestic landscapes and variable and intense weather systems play upon those grand surfaces.

Greetings,

Ian

Dear Angelika,

It is always wonderful to receive a comment from you, and to share my landscapes with you. This composition was influenced by your designs, and I am pleased that you have seen it. Whenever I am exploring the option of centering something in the photo, I think of you and the way you balance that with a frame or another element that is off-centre. So thanks very much.

I love New Zealand too.

Warmest regards,

Ian

It is no wonder that Lord of the Rings films were made on location in South Island, New Zealand, Ah-Pong! Thanks indeed for the awards.
