This is spectacular, Ian. The dramatic sky, the composition, the depth, like.
Very good composition!! Super--Like--AnaM
Great shot and nice scenery Ian. Greetings Berend
Hallo Ian, very nice shot.
It was certainly one of the wonderful moments for a landscape photographer, Tom. You know them well! Thanks very much. You are an encourager.
Welcome to my gallery, AnaM. I am pleased that you appreciate the composition. The drama of light, rain and cloud seemed to demand a foreground that increased the threat of the storm. The cabbage tree certainly gave me the impression that it was being flailed by the storm.
Thank you Berend. New Zealand is full of majestic landscapes and variable and intense weather systems play upon those grand surfaces.
It is always wonderful to receive a comment from you, and to share my landscapes with you. This composition was influenced by your designs, and I am pleased that you have seen it. Whenever I am exploring the option of centering something in the photo, I think of you and the way you balance that with a frame or another element that is off-centre. So thanks very much.
I love New Zealand too.
YS for this impressing shot. Thankyou. Lydie
Wow, thank you Lydie. Was really dramatic and I tried to photogrpah it so that it would remain memorbable for me for a long time.
MYSTICAL and AMAZING!!

Nice scenery, greetings from Greetje
It is no wonder that Lord of the Rings films were made on location in South Island, New Zealand, Ah-Pong! Thanks indeed for the awards.
We drove and drove - had tpo start early in the morning and fins=ish each day with the last light. Just couldn't get enough of South Island, NZ. It really is a variety of beautiful landscapes.
Another example of your visual poetry pieces, Ian
Hi Ian, we did something very similar here... :)
Thanks very much Tomas. This is 100% Pure NZ alright!
