Looks like you almost made it out here. Just one more state over. :)

I know Ben it would be wonderful to be in Utah, but family demands etc...........

This is still a cool place.

You have to love America where they let honest citizens buy guns too.

Thanks Mike and Theolfa for coming by.

Home, home on the range Where the deer and the antelope play Where seldom is heard a discouraging word...

All the best Peter

Definitely far west mentality, I now understand the meaning of "we don't call 911" but what if one is shot and wounded, do they at least call 911 then for an ambulance or put them off their misery? Suppose an ambulance was called, do they then have to verify a healthy bank balance? ;) (Only joking)

Don't get me going on health care costs NICK.........

Nick Todaro on July 18, 2012

Jethro, I remember you saying on another occasion that there was no difference... you pay less tax over there while we pay our due for the benefit of all (except for the rich who go private and pay no tax at all!:))

David Brown Photogra… on July 19, 2012

NICK I warned you not to get me going.....

We have three rates for health costs.

a)If you have no money, basic care is free, but if you need advanced care (livers, kidneys, hearts etc) you die.

b) If you are in work AND you get insurance (still not free) you and/or your insurer pays single rate i.e. 1 x agreed value of care.

c) If you are out of work and you have some/any money at all you pay 2 x rate of care until you are bankrupt, then a) above applies.

We do have socialism here and socialist healthcare where people get free healthcare until their grave, but that is reserved for military and all ex-military personnel, government (federal) workers and members or the government (senators and such like).

See.... I told you not to get me going......

Nick Todaro on July 19, 2012

Sorry Jethro I didn't mean to get you going! :) Socialist health care?... So does that mean that the only caring people are socialist, what about the rest?... Surely you can't say that they don't care, or do they?..

P.S. Only Joking
