A common sight early in the year
how did you fare with the earthquakes?
I was out with a German friend taking snaps of the chapel of a ruined monastery that's being renovated and a hill castle. Didn't feel a thing. It was only a 5.3, which isn't very strong. Unfortunately the epicenter was quite high up, right under the middle of the old town in Lorca. Spanish brick is large, hollow and has the shear resistance of a Maryland Cookie - no attention is paid to earthquake resistance, as on average the country only gets one <6.0 quake every two hundred years or so.
Glad to hear that you're safe. Nice pics of and around the chapel. Places of ruin are definitely fun to play in ... photographically speaking.
what earthquakes? :-O Good to hear that you're safe, that's for sure. And I should pull my head out of... to kind of be aware of what's going on!
Oh yes, nice flower...
