Out parents house was like this

simple, firm and beautiful

This beautiful structure is a symbol of the simple houses of the old year of Gilan in Iran. The year when no carpet to sit on and no gas or oil heater to get warm. I listen to lonely mother of village, she says the stories of those years, the times mat under their feet and when it was cold, they used to use a coppery plate and put the red and hot coal taken from the smoky room rice was dried there. When it was morning, she had to work in rice storage across their house and a special device named Jakoob with a long lever which was used to separate grains and hulls. It took hours even until noon and that was just for one day food! They had works. Too much works. But its result was health and ready and cheery bodies. She says it was summer when she was pregnant me and the time of harvesting rice. She felt the time to bear when she cut the last clusters of rice! No need to rest and not any special doctor for intensive care. Even though these buildings were health resort but its stairs split sometimes and she had a bad chance one of them broke and she fell a high altitude. A little wound, a little pain and not any doctor near hear. Over the years she hasn’t that energy to tolerate the old pain and now it’s hard to walk after ten years and it’s a dream to stand on the stable feet of rice fields. Mother sits a corner and knock of carpet and reduce the flame of gas heater. She remembers agility when youth.
