Concordia Cemetery was founded around 1840, and is the resting place of over 60,000, notable and not so notable citizens of El Paso and Juarez.

Some of the eternal residents of Concordia Cemetery are the famous gunfighter John Wesley Hardin, Constable John Selman, Mexican settlers, Buffalo Soldiers, Father Pinto, Rev. Joseph Tayes, the Munday family, early Mormon pioneers, Alzina Orndorff DeGroff, Florida (Lady Flo) Wolf, temporarily Mexican Presidente Victoriano Huerte and too many more to name.
