Dearest Lloyd ....... Worry not, my friend, your language wasn't that bad, but I still know people who would be offended. I just wanted to keep it clean. I'm SO glad I didn't hurt your feelings because I would never, EVER want to do that. Thank you for understanding! :) What a beautiful story about the sweet little old man at the horse show. I'm sure that time with you, Kate and Sally will be a day he'll always remember. When we take the time to stop and listen, we can learn so much from the ones who have gone before us. I'm glad you all shared that moment, and thank you for also sharing it with me. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the weekend. It is 100 degrees here and almost too hot to even be outside now. I just got back from a long bike ride and almost died in the intense heat. It's far too hot to take the pups walking now, even in the very late hours. We have been spending a lot of time over @ the lake now because they LOVE to swim, and it keeps everyone cool. I hope things are good over your way, and please forgive my delayed response to your note. All the best to you always, Mary Alice

MaryAlice.... Im sitting here with my laptop, infront of a roaring fire, because it is only 7c outside, while you boil away in the heat,i see on the yatesville web page you are in for a very hot spell in the next few days,i feel for you, as i dont really like the heat,i dont mind dry heat to much, but hate the humidity. When the bush fire's of 09 went through here it was 48c not sure what that is in F but i have never been so hot. I thought you might like hearing about the old man at the horse show,he was a wonderful old bloke full of energy and a passion to make the most of every day. Bob Dog & dozer love the water too,i have to get in and drag them out when its time to leave the river. Good talking again. Lloyd

Yes, Lloyd, it is VERY good talking again. It is hard to believe that you're sitting in front of a fire. Oh my word. Here we are living on this same great earth, and yet we are in such different places on it. Doesn't that just blow your mind? We are burning up here, and you are sitting in front of a roaring fire. Craziness. Well, it is far past my bedtime, so I'm about to head on that way. Take care and I wish you a beautiful day. I believe yours is just beginning as mine comes to a close. Once again, Craziness! :) My best to you, Mary Alice, on the other side of the world. :)

Lloyd, It is an amazing place indeed! I hope you are all bundled up and keeping warm while I sit here in the cool A/C sipping on Iced Tea! :)

Lloyd. B on June 11, 2011

Is that ''lipton ice tea''or one you made yourself i bet. i love the stuff, drink one with lunch nearly everday during summer, the ice tea with lemon is nice too. My son Nick just started working at the ski resort near us, for the opening of the season, sure is cold/ Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Going to my ''not'' refurbished barthroom for a hot shower now,Hint,Hint. Talk soon my friend. Lloyd.

MaryAlice on June 14, 2011

Lloyd, It was sweet tea from one of my favorite places downtown actually! :) Oh, so good! Sometimes I actually order if half and half. Half Sweet tea and the other half lemonade! Delicious! Ooooh wee, I could use some right now! Your Son? I didn't even know that you had son! How about that! How fun that you have a ski resort near you too! Well, I got your hint, but I still haven't replaced the toilet seat, and it throws the whole thing off. If I don't get one soon, I'll just have to send you a picture as it is! Hang tight though ....... I'm still working on it! :) You're so funny. I hope your week is off to a great start. Warmest regards always,

Mary Alice
