Taken recently, Marilyn? Is this a new photo since getting back from your trip? Someone must have planted these long ago for them to all be so big now. It's a wonderful image of the beginning of Autumn, very pretty with a thin carpet of leaves on the grass.
Though their moods are very different, both new tree photos were taken this afternoon, in a park just down the street from our house. (I never take pictures in Guelph and decided it was time to start!) It's an old park that has evolved over the years and has trees of many ages. We've lived near it for forty years, but I'd never noticed that these particular trees are planted in a line!
Very beautiful photo, Marilyn !Greetings, Tamás
A nice perspective, Marilyn! From the left lower corner to the upper right! Tat's also, what I like to do sometimes. Well done!
Excelent composition and a nice line (of trees), great work! :)
Thank you, Tamás, May, and Wallace. And yes, May, it's interesting to me how the eye seems to like to travel from left to right on that diagonal!
Greetings from Canada, Marilyn
Hallo Marilyn! Isn't it strange how long it can take to see the beauty in your direct neighbourhood? Both the trees and the photo are really beautiful! Greetings, Anne
Yes, Anne, it's hard to look at familiar things with fresh, new eyes! Thanks for your comment. Cheers, Marilyn
hi marilyn :o)

greetings from another crazy canuck ;-)
Another beautiful catch of the atmosphere of a place, Marilyn.
Nice fall colours! :)
Marilyn this is a lovely shot.
Greetings from Australia
I thought I had thanked all of you, but it seems to have "gone missing"! Thanks for your comments on this quiet, non-spectacular fall scene. That is part of autumn, too. Cheers, Marilyn
que buen desfile de arboles Marilyn
Thank you, Alfredo. Canada's autumn season is beautiful.
Wonderful picture!!! Bravo Marilyn!
I'm glad you found this buried in my collection, Jani! Thanks for your comment. Best wishes, Marilyn
Great composition and the light effects are perfect. Fantastic job.
I've lived in Guelph all my life until my recent move all the way to Breslau, and I have to say you both have a creative yet true eye for our fair city. And I remember those trees very well: I'm a GCVI grad and I remember running past them in some of our distance running in gym class. Very fond memories, very well portrayed. Can't say enough.
Thanks for stopping by to comment, va3svd. I think this is a pleasant part of the city. We've lived just north of the park (across from the arena) for a long, long time, and our older son went to GCVI. (The younger was in French immersion, so he want to Ross.) Greetings from Guelph to Breslau!
