Not a mermaid to be seen anywhere :)

House being re-roofed - sawing old battens - bagging broken slates - going to the dump - trying to salvage garden!

Normal service will be resumed - I promise

Don't worry I'm very patient :))) You just enjoy er um ... well Norway in due course I guess :)) or a house with a new roof and a re-styled garden xxx

That is calm Amelia, but that makes for great reflections. It looks like a very beautiful spot.

Hello Amelia. Ohhhhhhhhhhh another lovely shot. You are exceptionally good at these reflections aren't you Amelia!! :-)) A good camera can take great shots, but it also takes a talented person who sees a good photo in the first place which you have done here. Very good indeed Amelia. How are the Grandchildren going? Y*. KIndest REgards, David

Dear Jac & Willy, many thanks my Dutch friends. The beginning of April was wonderful in Norway. Now it is cold, rainy and windy - just in time for the school holidays :))

Hello Haggs, many thanks. I'm sorry you had to wait so long for acknowledgement here. My little laptop here works with Panoramio for about 45 minutes at a time, then I have to close it all down and wait before I reboot. I am very behind with replies and visits :(

Cheers, Amelia

...and not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. I don't think I've ever seen water so flat. Great colours and details, especially with the two boats in the foreground. Like

Best wishes, Randy

The mermaids were sunbathing at the water's edge reading the last edition of the News of the World Nick - so fascinated by it that they missed Sven's swimming lesson, hence the still water ;))

The ripples are still spreading far and wide ~ all remains murky in the world of Murdock and Dandelion ~

Good morning Wirtjo, many thanks for your lovely compliment and the Y*. It was one of those perfect mornings in southwest Norway where the sky meets the sea imperceptibly.
