Here's the majestic Tombstone Valley in northern Canada's Yukon Territory. We enjoyed 3 nights all to ourselves camped by this lake which is probably unusual as this area is getting to be a popular destination for backcountry enthusiasts. You can see the 10 tent pads to the right of Talus Lake. These are fairly recent additions to this new park due to the increasing numbers of visitors.

September is blueberry season here and we found a dense berry patch near the campsite that supplied a half a bowl each which we enjoyed with our breakfast meusli.

It's a very special feeling to spend 3 days in the solitude of this remote wilderness.

Incredible image. What a joy it must be to immerse yourself in such places. Most of my hiking is in the Olympic Mountains in a world of green. Best wishes, Larry
