I was amazed that this palm tree survived the waves of the stormy sea. The LIFE SAVING Tire helped! I spent a week on this island in Boh Phut, mostly indoors, without electricity, water and limited food supplies.
The streets were rivers as the rain was puring down and everything was flooded! Markets and restaurant were closed (no electricity - no fridge). The ferry and airport were closed. The mainland was also affected and the train to Bangkok was only resumed after 5 weeks.
