Koh Samui, Moslem Fishing Boat, BoPhut Pier

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

There were several Muslim families living in this area of Bo Phut. Looking at the amazing and intricate art work, there is no question about the fact it is a boat of muslim fisherman. The wife was repairing the nets, just few meters, from where I took this photo.

This moment was one of the few, when the sun came up in the week I was spent on Koh Samui. There was a lot of rain, stormy sea.

The ferry did not run for 3 days. NO WAY, I take a boat like this to leave the island.

I had to fly out, as the flood damaged the roads and train rails on the main land!
