The rain stopped for few hours, so I ventured on a beach walk. People were collecting the stuff, which the rain swept onto the beaches and sea from the hills.
This beach area belongs to small empty resort across the road.
The flooding forced most tourist to flee, and the ones, who were trapped on the island, were not very happy. I talked to few on the way to Bangkok, who were on the beach only once during their stay and ate canned food meals, as the restaurants had to close. (no electricity, no ice)
