Yes we had the table out for about a month. I was just at the kitchen door when I heard an almighty crash.
No reason could be found, and I was shocked when I Googled shattering tables. They said they had never had any other complaints, but the table was marked as a new line.
The trouble and strife was very angry but could not get a refund. You can see in the debris that there is a coffee cup, just think how lucky I have been. I could have been a pint of ale!

I think I'd be in the trading standards office by now Peter but you are right. It could've been worse!

I have spoken to Trading Standards and the you have to go through what is now called Consumer Direct.
They told me how to address a formal letter to the Company and gave a reference so as to monitor developments. So we will wait and see!
That's terrible! Some companies have no idea about customer service... Hope you get it sorted soon.
Don't let them off the hook. They're quick enough to take your money...
