Oh, sorry May! It does look like a stream of silver, I agree. Sometimes English isn't the best language for symbolism, since the words are already too overloaded with possible meaning. It would be nice to have a stream of silver, though, wouldn't it? Now that I've found one, I'll go looking for the Fountain of Youth next. ;-)
Silver, which remains silver only as long as one doesn't want to touch it. The same with the fountain of youth! Those who are looking for it, will never find it. :-))
