Starlight Web

Dewdrops on spiderweb.Picture taken with Canon MP-E65mm

This is the first macro photo lens designed to achieve a high magnification greater than 1x (up to 5X) without additional accessories. It is ideal for small subjects. The newly designed optical formula and UD-glass elements suppress chromatic aberrations which become apparent at high magnifications.

Prachtig die sterretjes....

Erik van den Ham on October 15, 2007

Dank je Dick

Was zelf ook erg gecharmeerd van het effect.De diafragma vlekken geven de foto een kaleidoscopisch tintje

Thanks for your comment and tip Erik! I wonder if I can be cheeky and ask you for further advice? I have only just recently taken up photography as a hobby and at the moment i have an inexpensive digital camera and the only editing software I use is photoimpact! It's my birthday coming up soon and I am looking out for a new camera, not too expensive or complicated! Any suggestions? Many thanks regards Sam.

Erik van den Ham on June 6, 2008

Hi Sam of course it's ok to ask. I do not know the brand of your current camera, but somtimes it's more easy to stick with that brand. Or you must be dissatisfied about it. What's importend in a compact camera is it's zoom capacity. Normaly the range is from a wide angle lens to some telelens. But don't be fooled with high zoom numbers digital. What counts is it's zoom analog this is done by the lens and the digital zoom is like you zoom in on the computerscreen, u will end up with some blurry picture.
