I love this image. Even though it doesn't necessarily show a geographical feature, it does show how man has adapted the surroundings for survival. It would be a pity not to include on the GE layer - I would definitely call it 'descriptive'. I hope you don't mind, I'm going to use some of your ideas next time I'm out and about.

The only slight change I would make would be to adjust the levels slightly so the tiles at the top left are not quite so bleached.

Thank you for your comments. The roof is newly laid, as you can see from the lack of moss and lichen. I will try to find an old roof, to illustrate what nature can add over time. And post some roof tiles from your area, perhaps it is time for a "tiles" tag.

I'll start looking... In the mean time, here's an old scan from Italy.

Thank you for the explanation about the stone house. And thanks for this photo! It is very good, I like the light, and it is very interesting for me. We also have in some parts of Serbia old houses covered with stone plates, very much like this one. Even the color of the stone is the same. At your photo of the stone house I noticed that some stones are flat and similar to this parts, but more rough and of different color, so the rock is obviously different. I like stone houses and it is very interesting when you find similarities in other countries. Thanks again.
