Marianne on May 30, 2011

Isn't it a roof garden?

Marianne on May 31, 2011

Right superico, in Norway we keep our gardening on the roofs, because we do have so little space up here.

Beautiful composition, Marianne. I love the sod roof alluding to the majestic mountain and green foothills. *Like, Best regards. -Art

Thank you Art, I am glad you like it.

Per was telling me yesterday that sometimes they allow goats onto these turf rooves as Mike suggested. I'd like to see that :)

I have even seen birch trees growing on them!

I agree, there isn't much free space in Norway for gardening, it's all so built up and overpopulated, as you can see in this photo ;-)

Mmmm, Just a thought.....

if you could get some daffodils planted up there, perhaps the bulbs would light the way home in the dark evenings?

Hi Marianne,

really looks overpopulated! Nice shot of a beautiful place.

Thanks for the link to your home gallery, it looks very interesting, too.
