The Ellinopyrgos (Gralista) Karditsa is a traditional village on the northwest side of Agrafa. It took its name from the ruins of the ancient tower on the north side of town. Built at the foot of Agrafa in nature at an altitude of 600 meters. In terms of architecture and urban planning is one of the most interesting settlements in the area. The settlement is built amphitheater with a reference center square, which is purely traditional structure. The Ellinopyrgos now exceeds the 15 centuries old, one of the oldest villages in western Thessaly. The ancient castle of Ellinopyrgou built with boulders of various sizes and higher rises in conical rocky area and a series of peaks starting from the right bank of the river Pamisos (opposite Mouzaki Karditsa) and extending to the South and Southeast. In the Ellinopyrgou the ruins of the first sugar factory in Greece, which belongs to Ellinopyrgiotes.
