LG아트센터(http://www.lgart.com)는 비영리 재단법인인 LG연암문화재단(이사장 구자경)이 문화예술의 창작과 교류를 통한 기업 이윤의 사회 환원과 문화 인프라 구축을 위해 건립한 다목적 공연장으로 2000년 3월에 문을 열었습니다.
객석 3개층, 총 1,103석 규모의 다목적 공연장으로서 연극, 무용, 음악, 뮤지컬 등을 두루 수용할 수 있는 최첨단 시설을 갖추고 있습니다. 관객들이 편리하게 극장으로 들어올 수 있게 설계되어 지하철 2호선 역삼역에서 내려 7번 출구로 나오면 바로 극장으로 진입할 수 있습니다.
Opened on March 27, 2000, after five years construction at a total cost of 65 billion Won, LG Arts Center(http://www.lgart.com), a superb cultural venue, manifests LGs philosophy of corporate contribution to society through providing cultural infrastructure. The Arts Center aims to provide the artists with one of the best spaces for artistry, the audience with the best services, and to promote the Korean performing arts creativity and diversity, thus lead the van in this, the "Cultural Era" of the twenty-first century. Managed by the LG Yonam Cultural Foundation, the non-profit organization of LG, the Arts Center is no doubt an ideal model of a space for art and culture, where the architects imaginations and the arts managers visions were harmoniously reflected from the beginning of the design phase through the completion of construction.
