That's very interesting, Marilyn. Where is this? It looks like it might be drawn instead of carved. I'm not really sure what to think of it. Maybe you have a story to go with this one?! :-D

Thank you, Ryan and Jean. I have no story to go with this one! It was on one wall of the plaza outside a chapel we visited, without explanation. I zoomed in on the photo before I compressed it to upload, and the dial is engraved, not drawn--I wondered about that myself because it is so simple.

(I was surprised when I overheard that some visitors had never seen a sundial on a wall. They hadn't had a chance to look at your photos, Jean!)
