Thank you for the joy you give me, in your appreciation of my images and my travels.
I delighted in seeing the vertical layers of habitats in this scene. And the glaciers once filled much of this valley as one can tell from shape of the lower valley wall, covered by forest. That level is lateral moraine left beside a retreating glacier.
The floor of the valley is now being reworked by the Dart River floods.
