This small "Lefroy Lake" was happily discovered after we rounded the flanks of Mt. Yukness on the ledges route from the Opabin Plateau in the Lake O'Hara neighborhood. Each of these alpine lakes or tarns seems to have its own unique shade of blue, green or somewhere in between.
Is it a turquoise coloured mirror in wild nature or gathering of melting snow water? It is so crystal clear!
