Sunset on Abbey Pond

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Unable to resist the temptation of grabbing another Abbey sunset, I hopped over the boundary wall (trespassed) with all my gear and hurriedly set up the tripod next to several other geeks who were already there..With a few moments of me taking this shot, the other geeks spoiled my view when they moved towards the pond to capture the full reflection..Ah well, you cant win em' all!

Ian Stehbens~~~Little wonder that I fall so far behind with my mail Ian...Stupidly I go on adding more and more images to the point where my output is far exceeded by the input..It's great receiving mail and I'm honoured that so many folks think that my humble offerings are worthy of comment...especially from those whose photos I totally admire! So my profound thanks Ian for such encouraging words and kind appraisal!

sugarbag1~~~How different our feelings about the rain differs David ;) I can appreciate that things are very dry in Oz and the ground needs watering..Here is the opposite, summer is on its way and the weather is deteriorating as I speak! so much for the joke which is British Summer Time!
