Sunset on Abbey Pond

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Unable to resist the temptation of grabbing another Abbey sunset, I hopped over the boundary wall (trespassed) with all my gear and hurriedly set up the tripod next to several other geeks who were already there..With a few moments of me taking this shot, the other geeks spoiled my view when they moved towards the pond to capture the full reflection..Ah well, you cant win em' all!

AlexCoy~~~Your'e most welcome Alex, your nice compolioment is much appreciated!

Lloret~~~~~Many photographers like to capture images of this XVII century ruin. It is possibly England's most recognised ruined Abbey. It sits prominently on a high headland above the old town and I live under its shadow ;)

GasGasL€X~~~~~Thanks Lex ;) This iconic structure which can be seen for miles, is Yorkshire's most famous ruined abbey, except perhaps for Fountains Abbey which runs a close second in popularity. I'm most grateful for your generous award!

Borfel~~~~~~Thank you for your interesting comment and kind appraisal ;)

Puna~~~~~Greetings Anand ;)~~~~~~I'm delighted for your generous award and favourable comment! As for fishing, well that is "par for the course" my friend..I am certain that good catches will be yours because you have the gift of all fishermen, that is, patience and faith, and perhaps, a little good fortune!

To you all, my sincere thanks for taking the time out to look and especially to those of you who added their precious comments

Kind regards!
