Snapp3r~~~Friendly greetings ;) Your appreciation of my Yorkshire photos is most welcome..Of course, these images are chosen to showcase the region in the best possible way..I think you should stop by someday, you will not be disappointed ;)

The general consensus suggests that your observations are correct...You will possibly have spent a lot of your Lakeland trips under leaden skies and torrential rain, the reason why so many tourists try to escape the soaking downpours! Often crossing the Pennines on the A66 to discover that the east coast is bathed in glorious sunshine, roasting hot temperatures and a heatwave that has lasted for weeks...In truth, we do enjoy drier but cooler climate here on the east coast. The scenery is not quite on the huge scale as the fells and lakes of Cumbria, but North Yorkshire is arguably just as pretty..A tour through this gallery will give you a taste of what is on offer..I hope one day that you will turn right from the M1 along the M62 or M18 and follow the signs for York and the A64..The world is then your oyster ;>)

Kind regards!

Jim
