This glacial valley, just here, away from the mainstream tourist trap, can be found peace and solitude in abundance. No where is the land and country side more cared for than this rural part of North Yorkshire. Even in the 21st century it is possible to be surrounded by all that nature can offer, yet one can believe that it is entirely your own!
