IECR – Your Spanish school in Costa Rica …
I went here in 2006 for a month long immersion program. What a wonderful place.
When I got here I had taken a few years of Spanish in high school and some classes in college. I had the basic concepts of grammar and some vocabulary but could not hold a conversation to save my life. After going here, I was able to talk on a wide range of subjects, understand, and be understood. This is where I truly learned Spanish.
The trick is good teachers and no one here will speak English to you even if they know it. I very highly recommend staying with a family and very highly recommend this school if you have a sincere desire to learn Spanish.
