Great photo! Are there many of these animals on the Island?
I have only seen them at American Camp where they are habituated to human contact and beg for handouts. They have largely lost their fear of humans. It is easy to take their photos, and of their young, as they hang out along the road. The one pictured is red but there are also varying shades of gray and black as well. We have also seen them near the visitor center. I suspect the population covers the entire island but elsewhere they are more afraid of people and harder to spot.
