Peter, thanks for this wonderful photo, it expresses so much harmony! * Warm regards, May
Although it was 20 years ago I remember standing in the spot to take the picture. I had seen one taken from the very same position in one of the illustrated books of The Lakes.
Luckily it war a hot still day.
All the best Peter
Nice symmetric and harmonic picture! LIKE! Happy week and great photos, Joni
I'm with the others on this one, what a lovely balanced and nicely exposed shot this is Peter a glorious location and a lovely day.
Oh for those days again - Jethro
Thank you Joni
All the best from England, Peter
Thanks Jethro, it was a great day to be in the Lakes.
Almost a year before to the day we were attempting the Coast to Coast, the weather was similar when we started the leg from Ennerdale Bridge. We decided to take the high route up to Red Pike and half way up were caught in a hailstorm!
Very good photo! LIKE!
This photo is in a very good nick Peter, looks as if you took it yesterday.. Fantastic scenery, mountain, sky, reflection in the water and that stone in a fore ground is credit to this shot..(or is it a lochness monster...:)
I think it is the advantage of scanning from the negative.
I saw a picture very similar to this that I had I had shown to my old mate, and remember remarking at the time that we would see how it turned out.
I was lucky to have a lovely day!
Best wishes Peter
Well Peter, normally you get such qualitity from slide, but from negative, it is brill. You do have good scanner as U mentioned some time ago..and your neg has not faded at all in so many years..
Yep, by looking at it, U certainly had warm day. You should have made a most with barbeq and beers.:))
Wonderful photo! VOTED & Like! Best wishes! Nick.
Great shot Peter, lovely reflection. Like fom me.
I saw this photo in a Guide Book before we went to the Lakes that year, and was determined to take my own. It is one of my favourites, but all pictures of the Lakes are favourites!
This is also a wonderful shot, Peter! The landscape is very beautiful and I like the reflections! Greetings, Anne
