The beginning of a hot and humid day along the Connecticut.

I feel the humidity here in AZ with this image. Great composition. Well worth the watermark. This is what I want to see when I travel NE next year. MAL

Thanks, Mal.

If you come by here next year, give me a shout (by way of the Panoramio private email) and I'll join you on a photo excursion to some of our photogenic views.

I especially like the layers of trees falling away in the distance. It creates such a wonderful perspective. It's actually a picture in itself. Greetings from NJ.

Thanks Hank. In life, the trees are, indeed, in layers. First the one I'm standing under, then the ones at the edge of the hayfield, then the layer on the other side of the river, then one across the road and up the side of the hill a bit, and finally, the hill backing them up. The scene would be a good candidate for a pop-up book. Or one of those Victorian dioramas in a box frame.

Who needs 3D when a good photographer can create the same feeling with skill and good lighting :-)

Hello Pennington, I does feel like morning, so I checked and it was.

I never get up early these days, so I miss the light mist!
