Thanks Marilyn! Don't worry they didn't come that close. This is about a 9.5x magnification. I just sat on the hill watching as they all came and went. Once the geese and ducks all came over to where I was sitting, and then after a while they all left. This one was trying to decide which blade of grass to eat!
Thanks Bruce. It's amazing how expressive their faces can be when all they have is a bill and two eyes. All the geese and ducks kept darting out of frame to get more grass. I got lots of nice poses, but most of them don't have heads. :-) I think this is one of my favorites. Ryan

Watch out, Ryan. They can be pretty fierce! Though this isn't the season when they're defending their young--that's an advantage. Nice catch!
