Beautiful location. Hope there was a campsite to stay in. What a place to wake up in.
Yes, there was a campsite, or actually we had our pick. We live in a place where it is still possible to have a mountain lake to yourself on a late summer evening. I was finally able to view your entire collection. Amazing scenery, beautifully photographed.
Hi eve, you have an amazing collection of photos, just beautiful
do you really have a mountain lake to yourself?if so you are really blessed!we have the lake district in england and it is truly beautiful. my wife and i try to visit twice a year. it cleans your soul if you know what i mean!
my most viewed photo is called morning mist over the lake district.i think you might like it. iam spoilt for choice with your collection.i have lots of them marked up as favourites.
Thank you, steandeb for your positive comments. There are many areas of Montana where you might be lucky enough to have a mountain lake to yourself. We have a very low population (less than 1mil), but a huge area (~377,000 km2) The lakes we like to visit tend to be at the end of a long, steep hike, especially with a backpack, but the reward is solitude.
I will be sure to check out your picture in the Lake District!
After a long lack of communication I return to look at your photos and to remain captivated with them. I have stopped to pass the winter colds and I have detained me in this backwater of peace that is the reflection of the mountains illuminated to the late afternoon on this wonderful lake already taken off of its light. A very beautiful photo like all yours.
Gorgeous photo. Can I ask what equipment you use?
Hector, for this photo I had a Fujifilm f440. It is my old camera, and did not have many settings. I personally like my new photos much better, which were taken with a Sony DSC-H2. Thank you for your interest.
Eve, all your Landscapes are amazing!! it's difficult to choose the best... Cheers from Italy, Piero
Piero, thank you for your comment. I love photographing landscapes, and I am glad I live in a place that has many interesting and unknown places to photograph. However, I think Italy has some of the most beautiful landscapes. Someday I hope to return with a better camera. Hello from Montana!
Great photo. It mentions a yellow star.
Greetings from Spain,
Thank you very much, Piero and Thomas! I am glad you came to visit! Greetings from Montana.
hello eve.amazing photo.
keep to make our dreams
It appears I ought to camp out next time im in the pioneers so I can see the sunset. Great shot!
Thanks, Jack. Sorry I missed your comment until now. I see you've been on Black Lion Mountain, so you probably looked down on this lake. This group of lakes get some use on the weekends, but you can be alone during the week. I also like the lakes on the other fork of Canyon Creek (Grayling, Vera, etc.), and I think they get less traffic.
