Thanks Anne, Tamás, Kojak, Mossip, and Csaba! This is just the beginning, and the hillsides are getting more colorful every day. Greetings to you all. Ryan

My favorite, too, of the series so far. I look forward to more! Marilyn

Ryan Calhoun on October 21, 2007

Thanks, Marilyn! It seems we got just enough rain lately to keep the colors on the trees for a while. I was afraid for a while we'd go straight from green to bare, but we got lucky :-)

All eyes will definitely be checking in on your page daily Ryan! :D

Ryan Calhoun on October 21, 2007

Not to worry, I have plenty more! Some trees are already in full color (some are already bare), but I think most of them are still green. It's possible we'll still have fall colors on a few trees when the first snow comes (probably not likely though).

Hi Ryan !

Here comes Autumn... And you catch the premices of the season with talent ! This photo looks like a painting !

Ryan Calhoun on October 21, 2007

Thank you very much, Stéphane! When the sun gets low it really makes the leaves glow, and there are endless colors and patterns to see. Greetings, Ryan

Great, Ryan! The focus and the spotlight on the coloured leaves!

Greetings, May

Ryan Calhoun on October 22, 2007

Thanks May! The sunlight turns into a natural spotlight, coming through so many other leaves, and always makes nice patterns of light and dark.

Yes, I love that too, Ryan!

It looks as if our seasons start at the same time. It's getting cold now, last night we've had a little snow, but it's off again and it might get warmer again.

Greetings, May

Ryan Calhoun on October 22, 2007

May, we just got a bit of cold air as well, along with rainy clouds. It will be gloomy until the weekend, but maybe the rain will brighten the remaining colors a bit before they leave.
