Therre has been good rains, Berend and as you know well, far too much in fact. And this catchment experienced very severe flooding. But here it seems all is good and the farmers are again cultivating, ploughing and planting for another good season.

Thank you, Ah-Pong. I am pleased that you like flying with the 'Flying Doctor' in order to enjoy the rural landscapes of the Darling Downs from the air.

These friable black clay soils are derived from basalt country and are very fertile. The creek provides irrigation water for licensed farmers.
