I believe, GE is not only "channel" for photos. A lot of beautiful photos are there in Panoramio, and also they appear in all sites, which uses Panoramio API. If the photos are related with your memories or hobby- why to remove? By the way- Panoramio administrators are sleeping- (:-() for long time there were not any revision done for GE....
