I really didn't have enough time in Nelson for we were only there for 3 days and there is so much more to explore than I had expected. I love the city. It has plenty of culture, history, art, and architecture to fascinate. And its surrounding landscapes are very attractive, diverse and colourful.

Greetings, Berend.

A nice lamp, red flowers and a nice bell tower... What a nice composition my dear Ian!

All my best wishes. Füsun K.

And I like the balance provided by that black and white pole as well!! Aren't the city council workers thoughtful, arranging it all so nicely for us photogrpahers? Thank you for your appreciation and compliment, dear .

Hello Ian I like this shot (YS !), especially the vertical perspective given by the street lamp and the cathedral tower ; and the colours are beautiful. This place is very special in my memories : I have bought a beautiful (One) ring in Hansen jewellery 4 years ago ;-) Greetings from France, Michael

Hello Michael,

I am especially glad that this image brings back some special memories for you. Was the ring for yourself or for someone special? And thanks for the appreciation of this photo. It certainly appeals to me for all the same reasons.

Kindest regards,

Ian (currently in Tonga)
