What a cool picture! The cool thing is that in 1989 I took the same shot but there were guys from my old unit in the back of a fifteen ton stake truck in the foreground. Our unit was responsible for the cleanup of Tinian. We cleared the jungle around the admin building, the bomb pits, and the bomb shelters. We didn't know why at the time but I do now. Nice job guys, the Island looks great.
