While not as dry as its been out in your area, we've also been in a bit of a drought this summer, so there was a lot of early leaf drop, and not as good a show as usual. But red maples seem to get more beautiful the more they're stressed, so they've been a season-saver!

Thanks Caleb! The trees are along the edge, but with all the grasses and the wildflowers changing colors in the marsh itself, autumn is the nicest time (especially since there are no Greenhead Flies then, too!!!!)
