Hi Alessandro, are you talking about the Canadian flag or the one from Québec? I also like the Canadian one, as well as those of Jamaica, South Africa and Wales. Most flags are just a litlle too plain for my taste. Best regards - Hans

In fact Hans, I was talking about the Canadian Flag, although I appreciate so much Canadian stuffs I don´t know so much about its all flags. I know that simbol stamped on the blue flag, not the cross but another one wich is repeated at the four corners of that flag. I use to see that stamped on the bermuda of Georges Saint Pierre, the fighter of UFC Championship and of course he is from Quebec. Canada is a interesting place because they have two languages and I am wondering for their culture!

Hi Alessandro, the thing you see on the blue flag (that is the one from Quebec), is called a fleur-de-lis (flor-de-lis in Portuguese) and is actually a French symbol. It is either an iris or a lilly, nobody is really sure but it is the symbol of the French monarchy. Best regards from Belgium - Hans
