Castle Rock towers over Wringcliff Bay at the West end of the Valley of the Rocks, near Lynton. Highveer Point juts out in the distance with the short grassy nose of Duty Point in the middle ground.
i think your old picture shows it in more impressive way, but its a pretty view of very dangerous coastline :) lovely almost mediteranean look!
i had to look closely and still not sure if there is a ruin on top or no :) thats very well named cliff! but there is a little building just peeping from behind the 'castle rock', am i right?
Notable view! Like! Greetings from Italy, Sergio
A lovely photo of an impressive precipice! I liked.
Hi,Pete!Wonderful place and excellent shot!Like
Thanks Unda, Sergio, Samad and Georgi for your kind comments. I agree with you Unda that the old shot is from the best viewpoint, but I didn't want to post a sunny version of the same view! This one's more zoomed in, and yes, Duty Point Tower is just visible. Castle Rock is all natural with no ruins on top.
