HU 4811 4050. A concrete torpedo tube platform is situated on the shoreline c.10m SE of the cemetery, N of The Knab. A large concrete base was built onto the rocks on top of which 3 torpedo tubes were mounted. The Knab platform formed part of the defences of Lerwick harbour. J Guy 1995; NMRS Ms 810/4, 165--6, 168
